Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This notice lists every cookie cleand sets and why.
The short version
- We use only strictly necessary cookies: the ones that keep partners and staff logged in.
- Customers who get a quote or book a clean don't get any cookies from us. You don't need an account to book.
- We don't use analytics, advertising, tracking or social media cookies, and we don't load any third-party scripts or fonts on our pages.
- Because these cookies are strictly necessary for a service you ask for (logging in), the law doesn't require us to ask for your consent, so we don't show a cookie banner.
The cookies we set

All of these are first-party (set by cleand.uk only), HttpOnly (the page's scripts can't read them), Secure (sent only over HTTPS) and SameSite=Lax (not sent with most requests from other sites). On our test systems, which don't use HTTPS, the same cookies appear without the __Secure- prefix.
We don't store anything else in your browser: we don't use local storage or session storage.
Paying with Stripe
When you pay, you leave cleand.uk for Stripe's secure payment page (checkout.stripe.com). Stripe sets its own cookies there, for example to prevent fraud. Those are Stripe's cookies, under Stripe's cookie policy (stripe.com/cookies-policy), not ours.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block our cookies, you can still get a quote and book a clean, but partners and staff won't be able to log in.
