cleand books home cleaning online. We set one price for the whole UK, show it to you before you pay, and find a background-checked cleaner for each clean.
Why cleand exists
Booking a cleaner usually means one of two things: waiting for someone to call you back with a quote, or a low hourly rate that grows once the booking fee, the minimum hours, the membership or the late cancellation charge are added.
We wanted it to work the other way round. You tell us about your home, we recommend the hours it needs, and you see the full price, VAT included, before you pay. There's no booking fee and no notice period, and you can cancel a one-off clean up to 2 hours before for a full refund.
How it works behind the scenes

- CheckedEvery cleaner passes a background (DBS) check and is approved by us before they see a job.
- InsuredEvery clean is covered by cleand's insurance.
- Fixed payCleaners are paid £15 an hour for regular, deep and end of tenancy cleans and £18.50 an hour for after builders cleans, and see it before they accept a job.
How we set our prices
Every month we read the prices that the UK's main cleaning companies show on their own websites, for the same homes and services, and we publish them next to ours on our cleaning prices page, so you can compare for yourself.
Regular cleans get cheaper per visit the more often you book: weekly costs less than fortnightly, and fortnightly less than monthly. One-off cleans are sold by the hour at the hours your home needs, so a small flat doesn't pay for a big house's clean.
When something goes wrong
If we can't find a cleaner for your one-off clean, you get your money back in full and 1 free hour on your next one-off booking. For a subscription clean, the prepaid clean goes back to your balance.
If something wasn't cleaned properly, report it from your booking page within 48 hours of the start and ask for a cleaner to come back and put it right, free. For anything else, call or email us.
