Comparison

cleand vs emop

emop is a platform where independent cleaners pick up jobs. Its hourly rates are among the lowest we track, and it takes same-day bookings with 4 hours' notice.

The catches are in the terms: a 3-hour minimum, cancellation fees from 24 hours before, and regular cleans sold as a 6-month subscription that renews itself. cleand has a 2-hour minimum, free cancellation until 2 hours before, and no fixed term.

emop's terms checked on its own website on 10 October 2026. Sources are listed at the end of this page.

Prices side by side

The hourly rate and the minimum

emop's rates are low, and it prices by frequency the same way cleand does: weekly cheapest, monthly dearest. But every emop booking is at least 3 hours, and you're billed for the time the cleaner actually spends, up to an hour over the estimate. With cleand the minimum is 2 hours and the price you see is the price you pay.

Subscriptions and cancelling

emop's regular cleaning is a subscription for 6 months that renews on its own, and its cancellation table charges a fee to cancel once a cleaner has accepted the jobs. Single bookings cost a fee to cancel from 24 hours before, and more inside 6 hours.

cleand's subscription is paid monthly with no fixed term. Stop it whenever you like; no new months are charged.
