Deep clean or regular clean?
Book a deep clean when the home needs more than a tidy: limescale on the taps, dust along the skirting boards, grease on the cupboard fronts. It's the clean that gets into corners.
If you want the home to stay that way, a regular clean every week or two costs less per visit and takes less time, because there's less to catch up on. Plenty of people start with a deep clean and then subscribe.

What a deep clean covers
Everything in a regular visit, in more detail, plus the jobs a regular visit leaves out.
Kitchen
- Worktops, hob and sink scrubbed
- Taps and splashback descaled
- Cupboard fronts, handles and the outside of appliances
- Inside cupboards and drawers, if they're empty
- Floor vacuumed and mopped, under the edges of units
Bathroom
- Toilet, bath, shower and basin cleaned
- Limescale taken off taps, shower heads and tiles
- Tiles and mirrors wiped
- Floor cleaned, including behind the toilet
Every room
- Skirting boards, doors and door frames
- Light switches and handles
- Reachable surfaces dusted, high and low
- Behind and under furniture that can be moved safely
- Floors vacuumed and mopped
- Bins emptied
oven clean adds 30 minutes (£12.50); inside the fridge adds 30 minutes (£12.50); inside windows adds 30 minutes (£12.50); ironing adds 30 minutes (£12.50). Add them on the quote and the recommended hours go up to match.
How the price compares
Per hour, cleand isn't the cheapest one-off clean you can book. Some companies advertise a lower rate and then add a booking fee, a minimum number of hours, or a membership. The second view shows what a 3-hour clean costs once those are included.

How many hours does your home need?
The same sums as the quote: a base for the kitchen and hallways, time for each bedroom and bathroom, then more or less depending on the state of the place.

A regular clean keeps a home in order: surfaces, floors, kitchen and bathroom. A deep clean goes further, into the places a regular visit skips: skirting boards, door frames, limescale, inside empty cupboards and behind furniture. Most people book one to get a home back on track, then keep it there with regular cleans.
It depends on the size of the home and how much it needs. For a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom flat in normal condition we recommend 4.5 hours. The quote works it out for your home, and you can book anything from 2 to 8 hours.
The cleaner works for the hours you booked and does the rooms you tell us matter most first. Anything left is what didn't fit in the time. If you want everything done, book the recommended hours.
Yes. Move it from your booking page up to 24 hours before, at no cost. Cancel more than 2 hours before the start for a full refund.
Carpet and upholstery shampooing and outside windows aren't part of any clean. The oven, the inside of the fridge, inside windows and ironing are extras you can add when you book; each adds time to the clean.
