Helpling has closed in the UK. Here's how to book a cleaner now
Helpling ceased all operations in the United Kingdom on 10 March 2025. Its UK website now shows only a closure notice, and bookings through it are no longer possible.
If you used Helpling, you have the same choice its customers had before: a booking platform where you pay online, or an agency that introduces a cleaner you pay directly. This page compares the options that are still running.

What to look for in a replacement
Helpling worked like most online platforms: you booked and paid online, and a self-employed cleaner came to you. Most of its UK customers will find the closest match in another platform. Before you choose, check four things in the terms rather than the advert: the minimum hours, any booking or agency fee, how late you can cancel without paying, and whether regular cleans tie you in for a fixed term.

The options, briefly
Housekeep: the largest platform in London, with an app and the same cleaner for weekly or fortnightly cleans. Free cancellation ends at noon the day before.
emop: low hourly rates and same-day bookings, with a 3-hour minimum and 6-month subscriptions.
Fantastic Services: many home services in one account, with a lower rate for members of its paid club.
Maid2Clean: an agency that introduces a cleaner you meet first and pay in cash, with a 2-month notice period.
cleand: a fixed price before you pay, free cancellation until 2 hours before, and regular cleans you can stop at any time. We don't promise the same cleaner every visit yet.
