Commercial cleaning

Communal area cleaning for blocks of flats

For managing agents, freeholders and residents' management companies. Tell us about the block and how often the shared parts need cleaning, and we'll send you a price.

  • Weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits
  • In with a key safe or a fob, so nobody needs to be there
  • DBS-checked cleaners, insured by cleand

What we clean, and what we don't yet

The quote lists exactly what's included for your premises. This is what a clean usually covers.

The cleaner does

  • Entrance hall and lobby: floors, mat, post area
  • Stairs and landings vacuumed or swept and mopped
  • Handrails, door handles and light switches wiped
  • Intercom panels and the inside of entrance door glass
  • The inside of the lift car
  • Skirting boards and ledges dusted

We don't do yet

  • Outside windows, or glass that needs a ladder
  • Jet washing paths and bin stores
  • Gardens and grounds
  • Clearing dumped rubbish or bulky waste

How a quote works

  1. Tell us about the premises

The type of building, roughly how big it is, how often you want it cleaned and the times that suit you. It takes a couple of minutes.
  2. We price it by hand

We read what you've sent and reply by email with a price, usually within one working day. If we need to see the space first, we'll say so.
  3. You agree before anything starts

The quote sets out what's cleaned, how often, when and the price. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

Good to know before you ask

  • Every cleaner passes a background (DBS) check and is approved by cleand, and every clean is covered by cleand's insurance.
  • We don't hold keys. Most businesses use a key safe or an alarm code, or have someone open up.
  • Tell us the times you need. The quote says whether we can cover them, and we won't agree to hours we can't staff.
  • Carpet shampooing, outside windows, cleaning at height and rubbish removal aren't included.

Questions people ask

Not directly yet. Problems go through whoever arranged the cleaning, usually the managing agent, who can contact us by email or phone.

Tell us in the form what record you need, and the quote will say what we can provide.

We price each site by hand, from its size, what needs cleaning, how often and at what times. Send the form and we'll reply with a price by email, usually within one working day. Our home cleaning prices are on the cleaning prices page if you'd like a sense of our hourly rates.

Tell us the times that suit you in the form. The quote says whether we can cover them. We'd rather say no than agree to hours we can't staff.
